The facts are that I have a lot of experience in handling collection agency/credit card lawsuits. I average about 25 to 35 new cases a month, which means that someone hires me to defend a collection agency lawsuit almost every business day. I have dealt with all of the big names in the industry, from Atlantic Credit and Finance to LVNV to Unifund to Midland and Portfolio Recovery, and all others in between. I handle these cases in many counties in Pennsylvania ( I haven’t been to all of the county courthouses, but I will have very soon). It’s at the point where I can tell you exactly what your lawsuit says, how many paragraphs it contains, and who the attorney is that is representing the collection agency without even seeing your lawsuit. (most times, anyways).
The point here is that I do have a lot of experience in these matters. The other important thing that I want to mention is that I will be brutally honest with you when I review your case. If I believe that I can help you, I will tell you. On the other hand, if I believe that I cannot help you, or that you cannot be helped, (this may occur if you contact me too late in the process), or if I cannot make it cost effective for you, I will tell you that as well. I don’t take on every client who wishes to retain me just so I can make an extra buck. I take on those cases where I feel confident that I can help the person with their legal issue and put them in a better position when the litigation ends.
If you are looking for an attorney who is up front with you, who tells you exactly how it is and how it’s likely to play out, who tells you the good and the bad, and who keeps you informed on the status of your case whenever that status changes, then call or email my office today at 412-348-8600 or send an email to Attorney Greg Artim
